I often have the feeling that the band Blahalouisiana puts into words in one of their songs: “I have talked myself naked again.” The Self Expression project is a fairly direct visualisation of that feeling.

The combination of an unintelligible monologue, experimental music and an almost entirely naked body portrays the defenceless self that lays itself open “like a book” in needless chatter.
