How It Was Made
I built the sequence out of objects evoking the film's world, sourced from my grandparents' garage. I shot them close up from various angles, both static and moving. The moving shots were shot with a slider. I wanted the names to appear as shadows, so I cut them out with a vinyl cutter, stuck them on a sheet of glass and lit them with a spotlight placed high above. In some shots I moved the lamp to make the lettering move.
