ABOUT
I am Gergő Gábor Péri, a media designer. I graduated from MOME in 2024. I am drawn to work that starts from a problem to be solved — building installations, both mechanical and digitally controlled. Before university I completed the two-year film programme at Werk Academy, and I still like reaching for film as a tool, documentary above all. Experimenting, and the learning that comes with it, is what I live on. Someone once told me: “Gergő, you can tell that you like to work.” I would add that yes, I do — but rather than spend one hour grinding through something, I will happily spend five automating it. As a media designer I like taking on tasks where I acquire the necessary knowledge along the way. I spend my free time outdoors, doing sports or travelling; both inspire me, and I keep trying to bring them into my work.
